
From 1-4 when picking up your homework packet it maybe helpful to: bring your student, a backpack, and the photo packet of pictures you will not be purchasing. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation during this time. We pray for our school, community, and country.

Zion Lutheran School will close thru March 29, as all area schools are doing the same in response to COVID-19 concerns. Information on homework and continued studies coming soon!

Zion Lutheran School has decided to suspend all scheduled assemblies, events, and program, effective March 13th through March 29th, 2020. At this time all athletic and activities practices will be allowed to continue as regularly scheduled.
While there are no planned closures at this time, we are continuing our preparations for home-based instruction and/or distance-learning in the event that school closure becomes a reality.
At this time, there have not been any confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Kearney or the surrounding service of the Two Rivers Health Department.

Zion’s response to the coronavirus has been posted, emailed, and sent home. Please look for it and review.

The 3rd-8th graders will sing at Holy Cross on Sunday, March 8th at the 9:30 am service. Please meet in the music room at Holy Cross at 9:10 am. Wear Zion navy polo and khaki pants. See you on Sunday!

Make sure to bring your money for the Books for Bibles Bracket Championship. The winner will be announced at the Grandparents Day program. Voting will close after lunch.

Tomorrow is Grandparents Day! Students should wear navy Zion polo and khaki pants. Last day of the bookfair. School wll be dismissed at 2:15pm wtih no afterschool program.

The Books For Bibles Bracket is down to the final four! Please bring loose change to vote for your favorite book. The final four are: “Holes”, “Harry Potter”, “Bud Not Buddy”, The Chronicles of Narnia”

The theme for Thursday wacky tacky day. Donuts with dad is before school from 7:45-8:15. The book fair is open before and after school.

Lutheran Schools Week begins tomorrow! Book Fair open everyday before and after school. The Books for Bibles Bracket happens all week. Be sure to bring in some change to vote for your favorite book each day. Funds go to buy Bibles for the Winnebago Mission.

The book fair will be open beginning Monday before school. We are in need of cashiers. Please stop by the office to sign up for a time to help. We really appreciate your help with this!

Order your P.E.A.C.E dinner and auction tickets today or tomorrow for the discounted ticket rate. The event is Saturday, March 21st. Invite your friends and family. It is a great night out supporting our wonderful school!

Just a reminder that spring picture day is tomorrow. If your child attends M/W/F preschool and you would like their picture taken bring them to the school from 9:00-1:00. Have a great day!
