Zion’s quiz bowl team won it’s first ever ESU 10 Middle School Quiz Bowl! The event hosted by the Educational Service Unit #10, was held at UNK on Tuesday, March 1st, and featured a field of 30+ teams from central Nebraska.
Zion’s team consisted of eight 8th graders: Elijah Boykin, Landen Eckhoff, Sterling Holllman, Blaire May, Eric Noyes, Emory Porter, Elijah Torres, and Colton Zehendner.
The team defeated the following teams: Loup County, Spaulding Academy, Ravenna, Grand Island Westridge Middle School, Shelton, Anselmo-Merna, and Centura!
Zion’s previous best showing was 2nd place in 2016 - so this was quite a feat! Soli Deo Gloria! To God alone be the glory!
