Zion's Back to School Scavenger Hunt
In lieu of our regular Back to School Night, Zion’s staff and Board of Education have designed a socially distanced scavenger hunt full of fun and prizes to celebrate the beginning of our 90th academic year.
The Map
At school on Friday, August 21st, each student will receive a map of several locations around Kearney. Your job is to visit each of these locations and find your treasure. A teacher or pastor will be there to sign off on your map. If you visit all of these locations, you can bring your map back to Zion and be entered in a drawing for a grand prize! Drawing winner will be announced on Monday, August 24th.
The Treasure at the End
Head back to Zion with your map and enjoy a snow cone from Tropical Sno. (This will be available from 4:30 until the end of the evening, so feel free to get your snow cone anytime during the event. You don’t have to wait until you finish the scavenger hunt). Each Zion student will receive one free small snow cone. Additional Tropical Sno will also be available for purchase at this time. In addition, each student will receive a free Kids Combo card to redeem at Raising Cane’s at your convenience.
The Times
Friday, August 21st
Scavenger Hunt locations will be available from 4:30-6:30pm
Map turn-in at Zion will be open until 7:30pm
Tropical Sno will be in the Zion parking lot from 4:30-7:30pm
Raising Cane’s meals can be redeemed at any time at the restaurant
