Zion has received the approval to offer free lunch meals to all students it will be retroactive to September 1st to December 18th or until funds run out. This is only available for full lunch meals. The PEACE Auction & Dinner scheduled for March 21st has been postponed. At this time, we are planning on holding the event on Friday, May 1st.

Zion Lutheran School will close thru March 29, as all area schools are doing the same in response to COVID-19 concerns. Information on homework and continued studies coming soon!

Zion Lutheran School has decided to suspend all scheduled assemblies, events, and program, effective March 13th through March 29th, 2020. At this time all athletic and activities practices will be allowed to continue as regularly scheduled.
While there are no planned closures at this time, we are continuing our preparations for home-based instruction and/or distance-learning in the event that school closure becomes a reality.
At this time, there have not been any confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Kearney or the surrounding service of the Two Rivers Health Department.

If your student attened the state fair today, they are running a little late due to the shuttle situation. Grades 5-7 will be back closer to 4:00. Grades 1st-4th will be shortly after 3:30, Kindergarten will be close to 3:45pm. We apologize for the inconvience.

State Fair Field Trip Update: After consultation with State Fair officials, we have been asked to use an offsite parking lot and shuttle to the Fair. We will commute to the South Walmart (directions linked on Events) and take the free shuttles/bus from there.
